Hypotheticals:

If you found a $50 bill on the street and had to spend it immediately, what would you buy?
Books. As many as I could get with $50. And a pack of cigarettes. And a lottery ticket.

If 50 people in your age group were selected randomly, how many do you think you would find leading a happier life than yours?
Maybe..30%. So those are the ones I'd kill off first.

Anything goes:

How many times do you normally hit the snooze button, after your alarm goes off?
I hit it exactly 5 times every morning.

Approximately, how many books have you read in the past year?
At least a couple hundred.

No-Brainers:

What is the most disturbing sound in the world?
My own voice is in the top 10. Other than that...the alarm clock. It disturbs my sleep every morning.

What is the most exotic food you have ever eaten?
Alligator or crawfish, if those are considered exotic. I'm not very food-venturous.

Personals:

What hidden talent do you have that most people don't know about?
I have so little talent that I don't hide anything. Or maybe it is so deeply hidden that it hasn't been discovered yet, even by me.

What will you be doing 10 years from today?
Playing 'Loaded Questions MMCCCXXVIII'
(is that even a real number?)

If I found a $50 on the street and had to spend it immediately,(meaning I have no choice--looking past the person in front of me who's quite obviously, frantically looking for the $50 bill they just lost) I would duck into the first used books/music place I could find and let the spree begin.

In a random selection of 50 people of my age group, I'd say probably half are living a happier life than I am. However, my own level of happiness would increase tenfold upon the realization that I just blew the $50 bill that one of those happy go lucky mofo's dropped while skipping gleefully down the sidewalk.

My alarm does not have a snooze button. I have trained myself to wake exactly five minutes before the alarm is set to go off. One reason for my divorce was that my darling spouse would hit that damn snooze button no fewer than half a dozen times every. single. effing. morning.

I've probably read about twenty books in the past year.

The most disturbing sound in the world occurs as you are sitting at a table with someone, enjoying the quiet of the morning, the sun streaming in through the windows, your hands wrapped around a nice warm beverage and then? They start to chew. Yes, the most disturbing sound in the world is the spoon clanking against their teeth and the crunching, smooshing, incessant chewing...AAGGHH!

Hmmm... the only "exotic" food that I have eaten would probably be Escargot. Gag.

What hidden talent do you have that most people don't know about?

I often orgasm in my sleep and if that weren't enough... I have been known to get off by having someone do nothing more than whisper in my ear. Oh, shut up. *Most* people don't know this.....

Ten years from today I will still be learning, loving and chasing my elusive happiness.

$50 would go right to books. Absolutely.

50 people in my age group - I'd say that 40 would be happier, but that is only because I am undergoing a period of transition and am currently living with my in-laws.

I never hit snooze. Once the sound hits my ears, I am awake. I know - I am a freak.

I've read at least 50 books. I go through phases that make it difficult to estimate. I read 5 books in just the last week but I know there was a stretchwhere I probably didn't read anything.

The most disturbing sound in the world is any manner of food slurping noises.

The most exotic food I've ever eaten was crocodile (very rubbery).

My special talent - I can walk into just about any establishment and immediately locate the bathroom using my spider senses.

10 years from today, I think I will be writing novels. As part of a book contract, not just as a hobby as I am today.

Personals:

What hidden talent do you have that most people don't know about?

Zero. Ever. I either get up, or the alarm gets shut off. There is No Middle Ground.
